We have learned about some of the spectral differences between galaxies and now it’s your turn! We will show you below a list of different galaxy spectra and you will have to choose whether they are elliptical or spiral.
Remember to pay attention to whether the “4000 Break” is very evident or not, as well as the presence of absorption and emission lines.
*Note: For this exercise ignore the presence of the green lines and only consider the blue spectrum.
